Who we are
This website and the programs offered here are run by Melissa Moffet, LLC, based in Boulder, Colorado. When this policy says “we,” “us” or “our,” it means Melissa and our small team. You can reach us anytime at info@melissamoffet.com.
What we collect
What you share with us. Your name and email when you sign up for the free Masterclass or another free offer; anything you write in applications, intake or onboarding forms, surveys and emails; and what you choose to share in calls and community spaces.
Purchase information. When you buy, checkout is handled by ThriveCart and its payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). We see your name, email, billing details and what you bought. We never see or store your full card number.
Program participation. Call attendance, replays you watch, and messages and posts in our community spaces such as Telegram.
Automatic information. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical information (browser, device, pages visited, how you arrived) through cookies and similar tools, including analytics and advertising pixels.
How we use it
- To deliver what you signed up for or purchased: classes, replays, calls, community and support
- To send emails you asked for, like the Masterclass, its follow-up series and my newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To process payments and payment plans, and to follow up on past-due payments as described in our policies
- To understand what's helpful, improve the site and our programs, and measure how our ads perform
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We never sell your personal information, and we don't share it for others to market to you.
Calls, recordings + community
Our group calls are recorded so members who can't attend live can receive them. Replays are shared only with participants of that program, usually through unlisted video links and our member directory. You're always welcome to turn off your camera or rename yourself on a call.
What you share in our spaces is held as sacred to that container, as described in our community agreements. Recording a call yourself, or sharing another participant's story or materials without consent, isn't permitted.
Testimonials + stories
If you send us a reflection, win or message, we'll only share it publicly with your permission. You can ask us to remove a testimonial at any time by emailing us.
Who helps us run things
We use trusted tools to run this business. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- MailerLite for email and sign-up forms
- ThriveCart, with Stripe and PayPal, for checkout and payments
- Zoom for live calls
- YouTube for hosting replays (unlisted)
- Telegram for our community spaces
- Thinkific for some course content remove once retired
- Google Workspace for documents and forms
- Cloudflare for website hosting and security
- Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta, if you use a pixel for site analytics and measuring ads
We may also share information if required by law, to protect the safety of our community, or as part of a business transfer.
Cookies + tracking
Cookies are small files that help our site work and help us see which pages and ads are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad personalization in your Google ad settings or Meta account. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Your choices + rights
- Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link at the bottom of any email
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or accounting reasons
Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, California or Colorado), you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. To make any request, email info@melissamoffet.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're part of our community or as long as we need it to provide what you purchased, including lifetime access to program content. Purchase records are kept as required for tax and accounting. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable platforms and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system online is perfectly secure, so if you ever have a concern, please tell us right away.
Visitors from outside the U.S.
We serve clients all over the world. Our business and most of our tools are based in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there.
Children
Our website and programs are designed for adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business evolves. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll let you know by email if a change is significant.
